Buenos Aires — A City Unlike Any Other in the Americas
You’re met at the airport and taken into Recoleta — jacaranda-lined avenues, French mansions, and a cemetery of extraordinary mausoleums, walked with a local guide. That evening: a sixteen-course asado in a private house, four wines from four regions, and a lesson in closing an empanada. A private city tour takes in San Telmo, Puerto Madero, and Palermo, then tango at El Viejo Almacén. The third day is yours — polo, or the boats of the Paraná Delta.

Bariloche — Lakes, Forests, and a Last Fire
A flight north brings blue lakes, pine-forested slopes, and the Andes in every direction. The Circuito Chico takes in the best of it, stopping at a craft brewery above Lago Moreno for empanadas and a tasting, and a chocolate workshop where you make your own. The next day you sail Lake Nahuel Huapi to the Arrayanes Forest, where cinnamon-colored trunks twist into a canopy found nowhere else. The final evening: cooking over iron with a Patagonian chef, then his guitar.
